PACT physical therapy and Dr Kara Shull treatments on neck pain

back, spine and neck

Over 80% of Americans experience some back pain in their lifetime, and it can be debilitating, with a profound effect on your daily activities and function.

The spine is comprised of 30 small bones called vertebrae, which are stabilized and protected by muscles, ligaments and discs. Regardless of whether you are a desk worker or athlete, the spine is subject to generalized wear and tear, which can cause pain and limited function.

Common back, spine and neck conditions include:

  • Acute back pain

  • Chronic back pain

  • Disc herniations/bulges

  • Degenerative Disc Disease

  • Spinal degeneration

  • Spinal stenosis

  • Radiculopathy

  • Spinal fusion

  • Sprains and strains

  • Sacroiliac dysfunction

  • Scoliosis

  • Sciatica

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Whiplash

Progressive weakness, numbness and tingling, night pain, swelling, and loss of function are all signs that can be evaluated by your PACT physical therapist to determine the best treatment plan to get you better, faster.
